Human Trafficking Toolkit
A comprehensive toolkit for healthcare professionals on trafficked/exploited children around the world.
The Problem: Human and Child Trafficking
Human trafficking is a global public health and human rights problem. The myriad adverse health and mental health consequences of trafficking prompt many trafficked persons to seek health care during or after their exploitation. Health professionals have the opportunity to prevent, and recognize human trafficking, and provide a link between exploited patients and organizations providing support services.
The Toolkit: Improving Healthcare Services for Trafficked Persons
This toolkit is designed to assist medical and mental health professionals, health administrators, government officials, shelter staff, and other care providers in assessing and improving health care services available to trafficked children and adults.
The Improving Healthcare Services for Trafficked Persons toolkit is available in both English and Spanish. Download the toolkit by clicking the PDF links below!
