What is human trafficking?

Human trafficking is a devastating and urgent crime that affects every country and community around the world. But it is an issue that is often hidden in plain sight.

Children make up almost one-third of trafficked persons worldwide. Trafficking of children is a growing issue as the number of children identified as experiencing human trafficking has tripled in the last 15 years.

But we can bring this issue into the light and support survivors in healing by listening, supporting, and taking action.

Paradise Highway is a film that represents the story of the many children who are trafficked, and how the people they encounter play a role in how their story ends. In tragedy—or in hope and healing.

The voices of these children need to be heard. Because when our stories are heard and understood, we can begin to heal.

You can help identify and stop human trafficking and exploitation.
